Destination Wedding Tips
Hello my lovely Brides-To-Be and Grooms-To-Be! From your favorite Wedding Consultant, I most apologize to my male readers, because I haven’t included you in my previous blogs. No excuses to be made and know that you will be included in all blogs from this day forward!
Now, to the business at hand! You’ve made the decision to say “I Do” and your want this day to be a day to remember and one of your decision may be to get married in a place other than where you live. Yes! A destination wedding, I am so excited for you and I would like to leave you with a couple of tips:
1. If you are from a large family, you must be prepared to except the fact that everyone may not be able to make it to the wedding due to things such as finances and/or scheduling conflicts with their job.
2. Invitations should be sent out well in advance, three to four months in advance, if you are getting married out of country. Please allow your guest enough time to get necessary documents together such as passports, tickets, and hotel accommodations.
3. Plan to do something for your guests that could not make your destination wedding, when you return home. A great idea is to have a reception!
